This hotel, located in Tanau, one of the most exclusive areas of the Baqueira ski resort, is a unique destination that combines luxury with a stunning natural setting. Our mission with this project has been to renew the hotel’s facilities, rooms, and common areas to ensure that every guest enjoys a welcoming and first-class stay, befitting the dreamy setting offered by its location.
Room Redesign: Comfort and Style
One of the main focuses of our work was the renovation of the rooms, where we sought to offer an elegant and comfortable atmosphere—ideal for rest after a day of mountain adventure. To achieve this, we chose high-quality materials and warm finishes, integrating design elements inspired by the Pyrenean landscape. The rooms now feature a neutral color palette that invites relaxation, natural textures, and wood and stone details that reflect the natural surroundings and provide a sophisticated, cozy touch.
Additionally, we incorporated modern technology for guest comfort, including efficient climate control systems and adaptable lighting design, allowing guests to personalize their space according to the time of day and their preferences.
Common Areas: Spaces to Connect and Unwind
The common areas of the Royal Tanau Hotel have been transformed to offer spaces where guests can relax, socialize, and enjoy the privileged views of the Pyrenees. Our team focused on maximizing visual connection with the mountain environment through panoramic windows and seating areas oriented toward the views, providing an immersive experience of the nature surrounding the hotel.
Among the improvements, the renovated lobby now welcomes visitors with a warm and inviting design, combining contemporary and rustic elements that reflect the spirit of the place. Our Baunova team also modernized key hotel facilities to enhance the overall guest experience. This included the renovation of wellness areas, such as the spa and heated pool, where the goal was to create a space for total relaxation. To achieve this, we selected a design that combines functionality and aesthetics, using high-resistance materials that are both elegant and modern.
For instance, the spa area was revamped to maximize comfort, with new treatment cabins and relaxation spaces that offer a sense of peace and privacy. Additionally, we equipped the gym with the latest technology to allow guests to stay active during their stay.
